40% Chardonnay with 60% Pinot Noir, the pinnacle of what feuillatte can achieve. Only the best Grand cru fruit is employed with an addition of Montgueux Chardonnay (It is amazing how such a small component can have such an influence on the whole- the power of Montgueux is unmistakable). Pale golden colour with a tantalising, persistent bead. Impeccable balance where the fresh, citrus, Whitefloral characters of the Chardonnay overlay a core of dark, Redberry fruits from the Pinot. Concentrated yet retains elegance and poise, with a lingering, satisfying finish. Impressive.
