Bright, pale straw colour with a lively bead. Fresh aromatics of floral, brioche, and cream. Flavours of vanillin, grilled nuts, baked bread and egg-whites, the wine has power yet remarkable elegance and finesse. They may produce volumes on a factory scale being the second largest house- yet this shows all the care and craftsmanship of an 'artisan' producer. A highly commendable non-vintage. I had gone off the house style through the nineties, as I found some to be excessively tart and a little green. This was my loss- after revisiting the house last year- I was blown away by just how good it is currently looking. I have become a convert. Well done.
