The nose is bursting with powerful ripe Muscat fruit aroma which underlies the dominant rancio character and beautifully integrated spirit, combining in a bouquet which is truly complex and balanced. The palate is likewise; a masterful combination of fresh material, aged rancio flavours, and beautifully integrated spirit which produces a wine with many layers of flavour, richly textured and intense in concentration, but dry and elegant on the finish. A superb example of this quintessential Australian dessert wine style.
