Dark mahogany-brown in colour, with an olive green tint to the edges. The nose clearly displays great age, whilst retaining varietal character. Almost unbelievably complex with an array of plum pudding, rose petal, raisin, spice and muscat fruit aromas. The palate is immensely rich and complex, with a depth of raisin fruit and incredible viscosity. The wine continues to gain intensity in the mouth building to a mid palate with a wealth of plum pudding and caramel flavours, before an incredibly long, lingering finish.
