Bright crimson red colour with purple hues. Blending of the two varieties produces a wine displaying the attractive blackcurrant / herbaceous flavours of Cabernet Sauvignon and the lifted blackberry fruit flavours mingled with peppery spice of Shiraz. Classic full body, soft tannins and lively fruits traits of the Cabernet Sauvignon are expertly entwined with the spicy notes of plum and blueberry like fruits of the Shiraz. Whilst the wine is full-bodied, it has excellent mouth filling drink-ability with a long sweet-fruit palate beautifully in balance. A blend of American and French oak adds extra complexity with rich coffee and coconut flavours.
