A pale lemon with a bright green hue and with the typically fine bead and persistent mousse. Refined and delicate with enticing lemon/citrus fruit flavours to the fore. Subtle brioche and yeast characters, courtesy of less maturation, add complexity and depth. A wine of great finesse built on a base of excellent cool-climate fruit. Initial citrus and green apple fruit flavours are balanced superbly by a creamy mouthfeel and biscuity/bready complexity. The wine builds to an intense mid palate highlighting smoky Pinot flavours before a crisp, refreshing finish.
